How will Jazz do on their road trip?

Utah’s road woes this season have been well documented. As of today, the Jazz are just 14-19 outside the AFKATDC (Arena Formerly Known As The Delta Center) so far this year. Of the nine playoff-contending teams in the Western Conference, only Dallas (also 14-19) and Denver (12-17) are under .500 away from home.
But since Utah’s horrible 1-9 record in the December on the road, the Jazz have been decent out of the state. In fact, Utah is 8-4 in its last dozen road games including wins at Houston, Denver and Phoenix.
The Jazz have now headed out on their final trip through the Eastern Conference this year with four games in five nights. They play at Chicago on Tuesday, Milwaukee on Wednesday, Boston on Friday and New Jersey on Saturday. The good news for Utah is that three of those teams have losing records, but that hasn’t always helped (please see recent losses at the Clippers and Timberwolves). The bad news is that the Celtics are so good they should be in the West, just to make things even more unfair.
Still, if Utah doesn’t come away with at least a 3-1 mark on this trip, it will have to be considered a disappointment. Anything less than two wins would be a disaster.
Personally, I expect the Jazz to get the job done against the Bulls, Bucks and Nets and for them to lose to the Celtics.
I know, I know, I know. That’s not exactly going out on a limb there, picking Deron and the boyzz to beat the three sub-.500 teams and to lose to the NBA title contender. But that’s the way I see things shaking out.
What about you? How do you see the Jazz faring on this roadie? Let us know what you think.
