Good luck guarding Ginobili

Jazz point guard Deron Williams has total respect for San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker, and considers him a good friend.
Jazz coach Jerry Sloan can’t say enough about Tim Duncan, San Antonio’s two-time NBA MVP.
But the Spur that really seems to stick in Utah’s craw is Manu Ginobili, the crafty Argentine who routinely gives the Jazz fits.
‘He’s been hard on us since he’s been in the league,” Sloan said. ‘He’s a terrific player. He’s a very lively guy. He’s a tough guy. Every team in the league would like to have a player like that.”
Heading into tonight’s ESPN-televised game against the Jazz, Ginobili already has one 37-point performance and one 29-point against the Jazz this season.
‘He’s probably one of the great players in the world, international-wise,” said Jazz small forward Andrei Kirilenko, who has spent his fair share of time defending the left-handed Ginobili.
‘He’s very creative. I would say he’s joker (wildcard) for San Antonio. It’s always tough to guard him. ‘ He’s can do everything on the floor ‘ defense, offense,” Kirilenko added. ‘Defensively you can’t really find a position, because he’s a great driver, a great shooter, he can create fouls. ‘ You can’t really step back and wait for the layup, because he’s a great shooter.”
