Price rooting for Utes, D-Will wants …

Kickoff is almost here, so here are a few more predictions (sorta) for today’s big game. And to answer Kosta Koufos’ questions, yes we are referring to the huge BYU-Utah battle and not that little skirmish between his Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan.

Ronnie Price, starting point guard and former Utah Valley University star: “Utah. … My school is too close to BYU, so I’m definitely not a BYU fan. (I’m) a Utah fan.” Price is also friends of Ute quarterback Brian Johnson — and the Jazz guard even walked the sidelines at the Big House when Utah played Michigan earlier this fall — so his pick is not a huge surprise.

Deron Williams, former Jazz starting point guard ‘ “I really don’t care. It’s not Illinois.”

Paul Millsap said he was picking Utah because he lives closer to the Utes. He quickly added that if he lived in Provo he’d pick BYU.

Carlos Boozer was asked about big rivalries he’s been involved in. Nothing too big, really, well other than Duke-North Carolina and USA vs. the World, he replied to the question.
