When discussing the Jazz’s evident road woes following Wednesday night’s loss at Oklahoma City ‘ a topic, by the way, that will addressed more fully in Friday’s Deseret News ‘ coach Jerry Sloan offered this tantalizing suggestion as a possible source for it all:
‘I don’t know what else to think,” he said. ‘I mean, when the effort is not there and we make mistake over mistake ‘ I don’t know what they do.
‘I don’t follow them around,” Sloan added. ‘But I’d say from our energy, where they were last night would be questioned.”
Veteran forward Matt Harpring, for one, begs to differ with the obvious implication.
‘There are some teams that have been around the league,” he said, ‘that when they go on the road, they go out at night.
‘I don’t think we have a team like that.”
