Aw, shoot … Bam!

Jazz coach Jerry Sloan was not a happy camper this morning, mostly because he was still hot following Sunday night’s loss at Golden State.
Today, though, it wasn’t his team’s hurting defense that had him most heated.
Rather, it was the way they shot against the Warriors – who predictably took advantage of the penchant for casting up long-distance deliveries, as evidenced partly by their 32-18 advantage in fastbreak points.
“We have a tendency,” Sloan said, “to think if we take a 15- or 18-foot shot, or a 3-point shot, that’s going to count 12 or 15 points. You know, you’ve got to make those shots. If you get them up in the air and don’t make then, bam!”
