Stockton and cell phones

When retired Jazz point guard John Stockton took a seat in the stands early in the second quarter of tonight’s Game 3 against the Los Angeles Lakers, heads turned.
Fan shouts included, “We need you,” “Suit up, John” and “Get a jersey.”
Cell phone cameras clicked, or buzzed, or whatever sound it is that’s made when a camera is used to take a picture instead of placing a call.
(Which is far too advanced to even think about for someone who still prefers rotary dial.)
Retired Jazz center Mark Eaton later took a seat near Stockton, and both acknowledged the sold-out EnergySolutions Arena crowd when their presence was announced and their images shown on the scoreboard video screen.
