It's almost here – finally

A couple of weeks ago, my facebook page was filled with post after post from parent after parent who were thrilled/shocked they were finally sending Johnny and Jill (not their real names) off to school.

Time to put on the new clothes, and pack the backpack with an assortment of cheap school supplies bought at K-Mart during that 10-for-$1 deal.

Summer was over. Excitement of a new school year was in the air. Best part, the kids were gonna be out of mommy’s hair for 8 hours a day!

Well, my new school year starts on Friday and I can’t wait. Seriously.

And, no, I’m not really talking about school, of course. Thank heavens those days are behind me. I’m referring to the Jazz season.

I haven’t bought any new clothes, a pack of pencils or any cool Superman folders, but I just might.

Yep, I’m that excited to actually be able to watch practice, games, and talk to players and coaches in the same room instead of trying to track down player agents and others who’d rather talk to the principal than media members.

Now if I can only find where I placed that metal compass and protractor last spring …

With that in mind, what are you most looking forward to this Jazz season?

I’ll give you a hint at what I’m looking forward to the most:
