D-Will's scary cab ride, Dwight's mullet and the forehead tattoo

Deron Williams is starting to get around in the advertising world, which might be a bit painful to his body and his ego judging the commercials he’s been in and worked on lately.

A commercial he filmed for the NBA on TNT this season with The Office’s Dwight Schrute is now going viral. Let’s just say Rainn Wilson is better suited for office work than being a cabbie. Love his mullet, though. It’s classic coming from a guy whose character on “The Office” has a bobblehead of one-time Jazz camper Gerry McNamara on his desk.

And the ad is pretty dang funny.

And when I say “pretty dang funny,” I mean it for an entirely different reason than the commercial that D-Will had to shoot for the Jazz on Tuesday night at the open scrimmage with “BUYTIX” written across his forehead.

We’ll have to wait for that promo spot to play, but check out the one that will play on TNT:

Maybe next time he takes a cab Williams should also take Craig Bolerjack’s advice and – say it together – “Buckle Up!”
