Thoughts from Sloan on the Cavs and his own club
A couple of interesting thoughts from Jazz coach Jerry Sloan today, when his club practiced for Thursday night’s TNT-televised game against LeBron James, Shaquille O’Neal and the Cleveland Cavaliers …
First, on the Cavs:
“(James) is a terrific player … and obviously their big people have given us some problem. They’re big, and we really don’t have the size to try to deal with them,” he said. “So we have to really work hard to try to play together, and try to see if we can keep them from running over us.”
And on his own club:
“Our players, I think they look like they like each other,” Sloan said. “You know, there was kind of a rough stretch there and everybody thought the season was over. (But) you still have to come back and play do the best you can.”
