Trade deadline day update II

NEW ORLEANS — A quick update on the Jazz trade front, from the Twitter wars …
The ESPN.com boys, Marc Stein and Chad Ford, have been tweeting about a late Miami push for Jazz power forward Carlos Boozer before today’s NBA trade line, including possible involvement from a third team.
A sampling:
“Heat being awfully protective of 2 mid first round picks. They’re trying to build a title contender. Those picks won’t get minutes. about 1 hours ago from web” … and
“Jazz playing really well right now. Needed a replacement for Boozer (Haslem) + upside (pick or player). Miami hasn’t offered latter …yet”
But Yahoo.com’s Adrian Wojnarowski just tweeted back this:
“A front office executive involved in Carlos Boozer three-way discussion with Miami, Utah and Wash: “It’s not going anywhere right now.” and …
“Just talked to one GM who says Miami calling to lay ground work for pre-draft and summer trades. Don’t seem like they’re doing deal now.”
The trade deadline comes in about half-an-hour.
And not soon enough.
