D-Will's Layup Lounge Act/Chicken Dance exhibition
You could tell by the actions of the Jazz stars that Saturday’s game was a blowout.
And by Jazz stars, I’m not referring to Kyrylo Fesenko and his 43-plus minute outing or Othyus Jeffers and his fun steal-and-slam.
In the second half, with the Jazz up by 30 or so points, Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer both turned around in their seats on the bench and laughed while Bear unloaded can after can of Silly String on Kyle Korver’s brother, Klayton.
I didn’t see it like those watching on TV might have, but the cameras also caught D-Will doing the hand actions of the Chicken Dance while sitting next to Boozer in another funny moment.
The most hilarious happening came when Williams flew down the court for a finger-roll layup and, thanks to his momentum, ended up in the stands. It almost seemed scripted because Williams plopped down right between two fans on an empty seat. Obviously winded and in a playful mood, Williams kicked back in the seat, put his arms around the guys and relaxed for a second or two as everybody in the arena busted a gut.
Here’s the YouTube video – likely from the FSN Utah feed (but via theutahjazzblog.com) – of the layup-lounge act and the Chicken Dance:
