More Ronnie Brewer on Kobe Bryant

More from former Jazz shooting guard Ronnie Brewer, who was traded to Memphis in February, on what it’s like to deal with Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant:
“You want guys other than him to have to contribute to win, and not just him winning the game by himself.
“When you try to be physical with him, he gets to the free-throw line. He’s, like, a 90-percent free-throw shooter, so … if you make a mistake and foul him … gonna make you pay.
“When he really gets it going, their offense is set where he can have the ball iso’d on the wing, he can iso you in the post, then they’ve got guys inside where he can dish the ball off. So, all the weapons that he’s got — you’ve got to … kind of pick your poison.
“If you want him to be strictly a jump-shooter, you’ve got to give him some space. But, at the same time, he shoots such a high percentage from everywhere on the floor that it makes it difficult.”
