Mr. Williams turns 26 Saturday

With today’s hot NBA talk being all about the possibility of New Orleans trading point guard Chris Paul — denials all the way around — it’s interesting to recall what so drafts prospects recently in town have had to say about perhaps playing with Jazz point Deron Williams.
In sum, they’d love it.
Ditto for the prospect of playing in front of Utah fans.
“They have a great fan base like we had at KU, and a great point guard in Deron Williams,” Kansas center Cole Aldrich said when asked why he’d like to play for the Jazz. “You can’t get any better than that.”
“Mr. Deron Williams — he does a great job leading them, and they play,” Baylor big man Ekpe Udoh added when asked what he knows about the Jazz. “The fans here are amazing, so, I mean, it’s a great atmosphere, it’s a great team.”
Udoh, by the way, is 23 years old.
Mr. Williams?
He turns 26 on Saturday.
