Update on the power forward who formerly played ahead of Paul Millsap

A quick update on the power forward who formerly played ahead of Paul Millsap in Utah:
According to ESPN.com, Carlos Boozer “still doesn’t have a specific date as to when he’ll return and neither does (Chicago Bulls) coach Tom Thibodeau.”
And according to the Chicago Sun-Times, “When the Bulls began their seven-game road trip earlier last week, the hope was that (Boozer) would be ready to go when they return home in early December. Now it’s looking like that might be a little ambitious, if not unrealistic.”
“We’ll know better once he starts practicing,” Thibodeau said, according to both the newspaper and the web site. “He’s still two steps away.”
Boozer, who left the Jazz for Chicago via free agency last July, hasn’t played yet this season due to a broken bone in his right hand.
Reported ESPN: “When Boozer does return, he will be wearing some type of protective brace on his hand for a while.”
Said Boozer, according to the Sun-Times: “I’m getting the doctor’s advice. He wants me to wait until (Nov. 30 before practicing with contact), and I’m trying to listen to him and at the same time listen to my body.”
Added the paper’s report: “Even if Boozer practices Nov. 30, it’s not as if the Bulls will activate him immediately. … Boozer likely will need a few practices to develop some rhythm. But he said he won’t need time to get in condition.”
“I’m right there,” Boozer told the Sun-Times.
The Jazz and Bulls, by the way, don’t meet for the first time this season until Feb. 9 in Utah.
