Utah Jazz Walk-a-Thon

A lot of people traveled further than Olympus High School’s Utah Jazz Club to get to the team’s home-opener at EnergySolutions Arena, including yours truly.

Nobody, however, walked the walk to show their support like these diehard teenagers from the Holladay area.

The club hoofed it for 9.7 miles, from their high school to the arena, in 2 hours and 40 minutes. Meaning it took them longer to get to the game than the Jazz’s 102-99 victory actually lasted.

Thankfully, the Oly teens didn’t have to hoof it home after the game. And from the pictures provided by Christian VanDenBerghe, it looks like much fun was had by the group.

Glad to see they had a ghetto blaster for the journey, too. Nice of the Jazz management to give them a suite and for the players to give them a win to cheer for, too.
